Those nice people at the Guardian Science Blog have been nice enough to give me some space to talk about the science of zombies.  What with Halloween and the release of Charlie Brooker’s Dead Set approaching, it seemed like the perfect topic!

    Ahh, you left out the finest of the zombifying parasites, Sacculina, that injects it’s self into a crab, takes over it’s brain with fleshy root-like fingers, and castrates the males causing them to grow and groom egg pouches for the parasite larvae.
