I’ve had a few microbiology classes and cultured many different types of bacteria on different media, so I thought it would be fun to make dessert that looked like bacterial cultures served in Petri dishes!

    I made coca-cola agar during my honours one day when I was bored. But the pH was so low that the agar didn’t set. Once I ajusted the pH to 6 a whole bunch of fungi grew on it including the Fusarium my friend was using for her experiment…
